Warehouse Technician – Shipping / Will Call

Responsible for accurately processing customer orders, preparing and shipping packages, and assisting customers with will-call pickups. This position requires strong attention to detail, computer skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Process and prepare daily shipments using desktop computers and shipping systems.

• Create shipping labels and process shipments through UPS and FedEx.

• Accurately pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring products are properly protected.

• Lift, move, and stack boxes and materials throughout the workday.

• Pull and stage customer orders using an RF scanner.

• Operate a cherry picker/order picker safely and efficiently to retrieve inventory.

• Assist customers with will-call orders, including locating, staging, and loading customer purchases.

• Verify orders for accuracy prior to shipment or customer pickup.

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.

• Assist with receiving, stocking, inventory movement, and other warehouse duties as needed.

• Work closely with other warehouse team members to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

• Experience using UPS and FedEx shipping systems preferred.

• Experience operating a cherry picker/order picker required.

• RF scanner experience preferred.

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn shipping software.

• Ability to read and accurately interpret customer orders and product information.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
